In 2017, a Georgia Music Foundation grant was awarded to Fair Oaks Elementary School in Marietta for “Pop Zing Boom!,” a week-long residency presented by teaching artist Dave Holland and Beatin’ Path Rhythm Events. A Georgia Music Foundation Grant was awarded in 2017 to the Atlanta Music Project Summer Series, an annual three-week festival and school in the communities AMP serves. The Georgia Music Foundation proudly announces the recipients of its 2016 Georgia Music Preservation, Education and Outreach Grants.
