GA Music Foundation Awards Grants for 2024

"Even modest grants can be make a difference for teachers and organizations working hard to provide strong music programs with too few resources," says Georgia Music Foundation Chair Russell Bennett of Monroe, GA. "Every year, we hear from educators in Georgia's rural and underserved communities about how this funding positively impacts their students and music classrooms."
Georgia Music Grants, which were $2,500 or less this year, are funded by individual and corporate donors, as well as the artists, sponsors and fans who support Foundation events. Last October, the proceeds of the Gretsch 140th Anniversary Celebration, a gala concert held in Savannah, GA, benefitted the Georgia Music Foundation and its grant program, thanks to the generosity of Dinah Gretsch, CFO of the Gretsch Company and a longtime Georgia Music Foundation board member, and her husband, Fred Gretsch, CEO of the global musical instruments brand.
