GA Music Foundation Awards Grants for 2025
The Georgia Music Foundation announces it has awarded $50,000 in Georgia Music Grants to 35 schools and non-profit organizations across the state in 2025. These grants fund the purchase and repair of musical instruments and supplies, instructional resources, programming support and more.
"Participation in music helps students develop so many critical skills," says Lisa Love, director of the Georgia Music Foundation. "Providing assistance to K-12 teachers and non-profit organizations to equip their music classrooms and enhance their instruction benefits students and their well-being both inside and outside of school."
The Georgia Music Grant to Henry for Music in Stockbridge helped purchase new instruments.
Founded in 1994, the Georgia Music Foundation supports programs of music education, preservation and outreach. The first round of Georgia Music Grants was distributed in 2015 and since then, nearly $1 million in funding has been awarded to deserving music programs statewide.
